I'll be posting two ponies in a row because I've been meaning to post them but haven't :I
So here's Shimmer Shell, I adopted her from polaroidadopts
Also she's a little taller than average mares.
Name: Shimmer Shell
Nickname: Shelly
Age: Mare (around the mane 6's age)
Species: Earth pony
Birth Date: April 24th
Occupation: Malacologist (she studies mollusks- mainly focusing on snails.)
Talent: Caring for and studying snails
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Relationship Status: Single- crushing hard on Coast (another one of my ponies- Will post him sometime soon...)
Personality: Shimmer Snail is very smart but learns very slowly, unless she is taught just the right way. Despite thinking slow, she talks fast, so she has developed a stutter and it's a little hard for others to understand her. She's very self-conscious, however, and knows how bad her speaking skills are, so she's a little quiet when she first meets others but eventually opens up to them. Shimmer Shell is easy to get along with once you get to know her, but since she's a little awkward people may be a little turned off by her.
Residence: Mareami Beach
Birthplace: Mareami Beach
Habits/Quirks: Stutter, can't help but doodle whenever she has something to write with in her hooves, gets really nervous without her glasses
Likes: Snails, early morning walks, playing frisbee, cuddling, gummies
Dislikes: Salt, seafood, dogs, shoes
Cutiemark: A snail
Cutiemark Story: Shelly had a hard time in school, so she was homeschooled, meaning she had lots of free time to explore around her house. One day, she got bored while swimming like she does everyday and decided to explore a part of the beach that had more plant life. She came upon a patch of land and found a huge amount of snails just chilling on the trees and all over the ground. She took some of them home to watch and play with them. One day, she had found out that one of her celebrity idols died, and she was devastated about it. She took time to care for her snails and watch over and play with them to get her mind off of it. By the end of the day, she was happy again. She realized that the snails made her happy, and earned her cutiemark when she noticed how much she loves them.
